A great loss in the Colorado river 2012
For me having been apart of river surfing in Colorado since 2005 and starting the Colorado River Surfing Association in 2007 the danger and fear of someone dying from this activity was something I think we all have put in our minds when jumping in the river to surf or SUP .At this years great event The White Water festival I got to talk and chat with others about some safety issues from wearing a leash or not and specs on wearing a life jacket or is the board you surf or paddle on…

Upper Ark river a wave hunting dream paradise
Much is going on with SUP, SURF boards in Colorado even with the lowest flows people are still charging it out there ,for me my passion for wave hunting never ends like others .
